Gone West: Willene Kidd

DENISON- Frances Willene Norman Kidd, age 90, died Friday,
She was born in Plainview, AR to Homer Lee and Frances Lucille Compton Norman on January 30, 1923. After graduating from Midland High School, Midland, TX, in 1940, she worked at the Army Air Force Bombardier School in Big Spring Texas. There, she met and married Albert Rav Kidd on January 14, 1944. Willene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Denison where she was an active member of Circle III. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 65 years and was in the Denison Beta Zeta Master Chapter of Bata Sigma Phi. She and Ray loved to travel, and they made many trips across the US and Canada in their motor home. They also enjoyed their gatherings and travels with their friends and other members of the Antqie Airplane Association and the Vixen RV Association.
