Gone West: Michael Lewis Mitchell

Mike Mitchell, 65, of Rhome TX passed away June 24th at his home at New Fairview Airport. Mr. Mitchell was born in Lawton, OK on December 22, 1950 to Louis and Betty Mitchell. He was currently married to Laurie Mitchell on May 23, 2006.

The Texas Antique Airplane Association has lost a very good friend and a talented aircraft restorer. Mike was always ready to give advice and thoughts on any aircraft project or problem. He helped me many times with his knowledge of Fairchild's during the restoration of my F24.

He will be missed but not forgotten, God speed Mike.
